We consume, generate
I taste you in my mind
I can barely disengage, when I face it in mankind
The devil runs, when I face it in my mind
It’s happening slowly
Now I look at all the lonely people
Made to lose, tricked again
I test you in the fire
I can barely disengage, when I face it in mankind
The devil runs, when I face it in my mind
It’s happening slowly
Now I look at all the lonely people
She left her courage on my door and on my wall
and if her wounds weren’t sad enough,
so high she almost died
She’s drowning in a sea
a blanket on my wall
and if her wounds weren’t sad enough,
so high she almost died
Wasted, drown in the cause
She almost left untide
Wasted, drown in the flood
I taste you in my mind
Idle hands, fake demands,
when I face it in mankind
The devil runs, when I face it in my mind
It’s happening slowly
Now I look at all the lonely people
She left her courage on my door and on my wall
and if her wounds weren’t sad enough,
so high she almost died
She’s drowning in a sea
a blanket on my wall
and if her wounds weren’t sad enough,
so high she almost died
Wasted, drown in the cause
She almost left untide
Wasted, drown in the flood
Every single member of this band is incredibly skilled in their own right, but I love how much they accentuate each other's talents into these masterful tracks. The whole album is excellent. I'm so happy they were finally able to come to my home state and perform.
Incredible band, can't wait to listen to what comes next. quantumquail
An impressive work of progressive metal, seems initially to be taken out of the best moments of the genre’s behemoths (Fates Warning, Dream Theater). However, with enough distinction and personality, featuring Greek folk elements here and there, the musicianship mastery of the band members make tracks like Nemmortal, Norchestrion and Circadian, bright jewels for the genre and for metal in general. A must have album!!! Hetairos Hekateros
Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ
