The Lord thundered from Heaven his voice
Of the Most High he spoke to me
and saved me from myself
Through his eyes the rain appears
Washed away the sin and tears
But I trust in his unfailing love
To give me light
Were my foes too strong for me?
I heard the lamb and the preacher
As if they watched over me
He gave me sight
Through his eyes the rain appears
Washed away the sin and tears
But I trust in his unfailing love
To give me light
The window follows
You can't see
That it is nothing more
Than your own reflection
Staring back into your soul
Where darkness lies
Through his eyes the rain appears
Washed away the sin and tears
But I trust in his unfailing love
To give me light

Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ

This is the first progressive metal album I've loved in quite some time. Phenomenal songwriting, instrumental virtuosity, and stellar vocal performances make this one of the most unique and strongest releases of 2020. Holdeneye

What a creative and unique EP from David! I love the intricacy and level of detail in the soundscape so much. There's always something for my ear to catch each time I visit this release. This is one of his more underrated releases, in my opinion. Great job, David! :D Erkadur
