"In my experience, it’s rare that an album can make such an emotional impact on me. But that is exactly what TERAMAZE have done here with “I Wonder.” It’s so pretty, that it makes my heart ache. “Run,” “Sleeping Man,” and “I Wonder” perhaps had the greatest effect on me. But each track left a mark in one way or another. Unabashedly and unashamedly beautiful both lyrically and musically, the key is the method in which they combine powerful and commanding sounds with moments of breathtaking wonder. This was one of the most moving albums I have heard in some time, and a contender for Album of the Year for sure." - Metal Temple

A Deep State of Awake
too many times its taken place
i face you in my dreams
its where you are
and in the corner of my mind
a place to hide my fears
and now i see you there
( you think that you’re in control
but all your thoughts are mine
you think you already know the truth
but the truth is you’re totally blind
you think that you have a choice
but i pull all the strings
you think that you have a voice to open their eyes but
in my eyes you’re nothing)
i will see you there
and i will find you there
nothing is, what it seems in time
there is faith
i seal it on my mind
no one is
left behind
we’re digging down
to a deeper state
you will see
where the children stayed
they will laugh
you will cry
now wake up
its where i wanted to destroy
now wake up
its where i leave my personality
And in the shadow of the moon
you’ve given me this song
to speak out loud
( you think that you’re in control
but all your thoughts are mine
you think you already know the truth
but the truth is you’re totally blind
you think that you have a choice
but i pull all the strings
you think that you have a voice to open their eyes but
in my eyes you’re nothing )
now wake up
its where i wanted to destroy
now wake up
its where i wanted to destroy
now wake up
its where i leave my personality
Solo(Wells)
and now we don’t understand it all
what it feels to know
feels to know
and now we don’t understand the pain
what it feels to know
feels to know
Solo (Zoupa)
Will you follow me
or get left behind
Solo(Zoupa)
Will you follow me
or get left behind
now!
and now we don’t understand it all
what it feels to know
feels to know
and now we don’t understand the pain
what it feels to know
feels to know
Solo(Wells)
now wake up
its where i wanted to destroy
now wake up
its where i wanted to destroy
now wake up
its where i leave my personality
( you think that you’re in control
but all your thoughts are mine
you think you already know the truth
but the truth is you’re totally blind
you think that you have a choice
but i pull all the strings
you think that you have a voice to open their eyes but
in my eyes you’re nothing)
and now we don’t understand it all
what it feels to know
feels to know
and now we don’t understand the pain
what it feels to know

An impressive work of progressive metal, seems initially to be taken out of the best moments of the genre’s behemoths (Fates Warning, Dream Theater). However, with enough distinction and personality, featuring Greek folk elements here and there, the musicianship mastery of the band members make tracks like Nemmortal, Norchestrion and Circadian, bright jewels for the genre and for metal in general. A must have album!!! Hetairos Hekateros

The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself

Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ
